TOPIC: PROPAGATION TECHNIQUE

INTRODUCTION: 

On this week, we are given the task to do the plant propagation which is budding and stem cutting. Budding is a inserting a single bud from a desirable plant into an opening in the bark of compatible rootstock to create an advantageous variety and rootstock combination while stem cutting is a includes a piece of stem plus any attached leaves or buds. A cutting is a vegetative plant part which is served from the parent plant in order to regenerate by itself. For this week task, we are using rubber trees for budding and for stem cutting we are using Turnera Ulmifolia plants. All of this task has been doing at nursery.

OBJECTIVE:

-To achieve an increasing in numbers and to preserve the essential characteristic of the plant.

-Help in growing new plants from vegetative parts of the older plants.

-Subuh prayer's together at Surau

-morning exercise

-Asmaul Husna recitation, tazkirah and doa (recitation)

- Sing a national anthems, wawasan setia UITM and planter's song

-Planter's talk

8:00 am

-Taking an attendance

-Having a briefing from the lecture about the task for this week

-Taking the tool and equipment that we want to use

-Moving to the Nursery

-Starting doing the plant propagation which is budding and stem cutting

- finish the task

-Have a rest

-All students are moving to their plot angkat that has been determined

11:30am

-For our class, we are doing the transplanting at the nursery
